Drew Blythe Barrymore, born on February 22, 1975, is an American actress. Numerous accolades have been awarded to her including the Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, and a BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore actor family , and is the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor as a child and achieved fame for her portrayal of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent childhood filled with drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she appeared in a variety of films, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was a star with Adam Sandler in a few films, such as The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Barrymore was a young actress who was famous for her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
