Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, more commonly called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper and singer. The stage name he uses is that of a favorite uncle and the first name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He also signed a record contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. It was then immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his debut album from the studio. The smash single "Antidote" was the lead track. The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the number one spot in less than a decade in 2020.
