 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actress soon after her move to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. Her fame was boosted for her role in television commercials. She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. At the age of five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on to get the Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
